Default I am planning to gift my Boss a bottle of wine. is it appropriate ? If no, kindly...

...give me some suggestions.. !? Or if yes, kindly suggest me a neat price range..
And I forgot to mention , this is a Christmas gift. !!!

Yes it is if he is a drinker. Do not give a bottle of wine to someone who does not drink. My boss gets wine all the time as gifts from clients and he does not drink.

Wine is my go to gift when I don't know what to get some one. I usually try to get a local wine or some really exotic wine, and I aim for no more than $20. It is impersonal enough so as not to suggest anything to the recipient, but I a very nice gesture nonetheless.

You should not get your boss a christmas gift.It is a religous holiday and To get a supervisor a gift is Tacky.If you just cant control yourself then get them something like food, a box of cookies or a mug with some gourmet coffee but in my opioin it not neccesary.
