I just learned about this cute under the radar wineclub that is spun off from a local San Francisco restaraunt. They bring you Australian and New Zealand goodies (wine, snacks/food) right to your door in any location in the US. The brand strategy is quite well thought out and you do get some very quality wines every month: wolf blass, lindemen, penfolds (great value for your money).

The price is extremely reasonable at $39.95/mo and you can cancel anytime. You can probably give it a try for month if you are interested in learning more about wine from down under. There are 3 tiers of service depending on your budget.

The restaraunt is located in the heart of San Francisco. It used to be dingy burger joint from the previous owners but the new owners have done a fantastic job of re-inventing themselves.

If you have heard about any other Australian wine clubs as decent as this, please let me know. I am not a wine connosseur but need to learn about wine so I can impress my clients and entertain guests. The beginners (South package) is ideal for me... I will try the "Splurge" maybe next year.

I have tried the South restaurant and Wine club! The wine is great, I really enjoy the Layer Cake. The wine club has a great, new, hard to find bottle every month.

I feel like I traveling the world without leaving my house. All my friends are quite amazed at all the new wines that I have discovered through this club.
