The best description of how Iced Wine Tastes?

I hear so many great reviews about Iced Wines (Not to be mistaken with Chilled Wine from a fridge). I want to know exactly how it tastes before I go out and purchase an expensive one. I heard the pricier the better tasting.

One of the main reasons I want to know is because I personally do not like the taste of regular white or red wine. I was hoping Iced Wine is sweeter, more like champagne.. or that IS what I've been hearing about it anyway.
