BeachHaven Winery in Clarksville, TN. I've never had a wine from them that I didn't like, red or white (or blush). They make a superb Shiraz and their Jazz is award winning.

Wimberly Valley Wines...they make a sweet red wine that is served cold that you can't get anywhere else. under $10 a bottle.

Nothing recently, but a long time ago I had some kind of Coppola Merlot or Cab. Can't remember. It was good and not expensive. There's a lot of crap out there. Oh, and be careful- Everyone thinks they're a wine expert since "Sideways" came out! Good luck.

Cranberry Wine from Pasek Cellars
http://www.pasekcellars.com/index.pt

They have other flavors that are also great, but sometimes a little too sweet for me.

You can order it from here, only about $10 for a bottle:

The US produce really Good Merlot & Zinfindel. Unfortunately Pinot is popular due to the movie sideways. Sales of Pinot has rocketed globally because of that movie.

Coming from Australia, I love Ravenswood Zin, and Sterling Merlot. Both are great examples of American wine under $30.

I drink more Argentina and Chile wine myself, better quality/value.

cheers,
S
