Buy it in bulk from a liquor store or a wholesale place like Sam's Club. Ask your caterer for suggestions,t hey often have partnerships with other vendors and can get you better deals. Good luck! =)

To save money buy you and your new husband a really nice bottle and serve Franzia sparkling. Its cheap and if you take it out of the box before serving most guests (those without an advanced palette) won't know the difference.

champagne comes from france. generally it is more expensive.
go w/ a domestic sparkling wine.
you can also get an italian version called proseco- it is a delicious sparkling wine and it's less expensive than the french variety.
for 30bottles you could try a wholesale type store (ie Costco) and you may be able to get it cheaper there.
good luck!

Any grocery store or liquor store should sell inexpensive champagne and/or sparkling wine.

Here is the thing, you really don't want cheap sparkling wine. It's nasty and gives you a hang over. Sparkling wine is my all time favorite drink, but most other people don't really like it. There is no point in serving a sparkling wine toast, most people take one sip and don't finish the rest of the glass. Let people toast with whatever they prefer to drink. Buy a few bottles of good sparkling wine, keep it at the bar, and let people ask for it.

If you have your heart set on a champagne toast, I recommend Schramsberg Mirabelle. If you want something cheaper than that, try Korbel. Anything cheaper than Korbel is not fit to drink. Schramsberg J Schram is the best sparkling wine I've ever had. good luck

Do you have a Trader Joe's near you? They have champange/sparkling wine starting from $4.99 a bottle.

If you don't have a Trader Joes, look for a liqour wholsaler or costco/sams club. They will be much cheaper than a grocery store, etc.
