Default can i substitute white wine vinegar for?

dry white wine when making shrimp scampi? and can i use beer?

I think you could use either, but the taste would be a little different.

yes you can if you need a bit of acidity add 1 tbl of lemon juice or lime ,

I use beer to make batter to bread the shrimp .
