Default Can you microwave ready-made mulled wine?

OK everyone, it's the work Christmas party tonight and us girls in the office are thinking of getting a bottle of ready-made mulled wine to drink while we're getting ready. We've only got a microwave and our tea mugs though so we'll have to improvise! Can we microwave the wine in each mug? Will it still taste ok and is it dangerous at all? Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!

No problem microwaving mulled wine; I do it every year, and the result is always complimentary by the guests. Enjoy!
