well they are grown now so the real stuff except the one who is having a baby no alcohol for her she won't touch it right now. When they were younger sparkling grape juice until teenager then I let them have a small sip of the bubbly

Our family has always let the kids have a little real wine.

Not much, for someone with a small body has smaller body mass and it takes a LOT less to make a small person tipsy or sick.

However letting them have a little wine (or beer) when they are little takes away the mystery and excitement of liquor. This way when they turn 15 and 16 and their friends sneak beer or they turn 18 and all the gang wants to sneak into a bar their reaction is "So WHY is this cool and exciting and a big deal? I've had wine with dinner since I was 4. It isn't that big a deal." They don' t think getting drunk is "cool" and that eliminates a lot of the teenage problems that relate to booze.
