...prices in NY or any of the boroughs? having a party this weekend and need to stock up on booze for it - don't want to pay ny prices and was hoping to find a wholesale spot in nyc or the bronx.

You can't really buy wholesale liquor in NY state unless you have a liquor license.. however... let me break you down:

You want to do your shopping at Broadway Liquors on Broadway and Astor Place in the Village. Hands down the cheapest spot in the city, almost wholesale prices.

In terms of beer, you can buy beer wholesale from any beverage distributor in the city. That includes kegs and cases. There is more than likely one close to your house, as they are spread out all over the city.
Other wise I know of one on Chrystie and Stanton in Manhattan, and Brooklyn is probably too far for you, but theres a million out here.
