Loses it's 'sparkling' like soda does. Any wine can go bad if kept in too warm a temperature. Best to chill after opening the bottle.

Before or after you open it. If you don't plan to open it for a while, just keep it in a cool place with no direct sun. Once opened, close the bottle with a Champagne stopper, refrigerate and drink with a day or 2. Any longer and it's going to be pretty flat. Just like any wine it can go bad and Asti is meant to be consumed within a year or two of bottling.

If it's stored properly no,it doesn't go bad.

You have to put it in a chiller after opening.
