Default Help. I'm invited to a wine tasting event and I don't really care for wine.?

I've never been to a wine tasting so I don't know what to expect. Should I decline the invitation?

Many wine tastings are actually opportunities to educate the attendees.

I suggest you go - try a few sips with an open mind..

Water is usually available to cleanse the palate.

This a very late response. So I'll just ask,,, Did you go to that event??

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
