Default I'm looking for some really good champagne/sparkling wine, know any?

I can get an excellent almond champagne at the Wilson winery in San Diego. Something like that.

Domaine st. Michelle, a California sparkling wine is an excellent value. I usually buy a case around the holidays. I serve it New Years Eve and drink it a holiday parties. My favorite is probably Moet & Chandon white label. About $30 per bottle.

cristal is the best, however a bit expensive. it tastes nice and fruity. dom perignon is also good, expensive, not as expensive as cristal though. also a little more carbonated. as far as affordable champagne. i really like asti and roget spumante.

The best Champagnes (sparkling wines) in the US are pretty much from Schramsberg. Even their $15 Mirabelle is great. The Cremant and Blanc De Noir are some of the best for drinking regularly. The Brut Rose is fabulous with food or just for sipping. Their higher end wines (reserve & J Schram) are perfect for celebrations and nights out.

The best wines won't have flavouring added. There's nothing wrong with liking them, but it's just something to keep in mind as you shop for good wine. : }
