Default Where may I find health regulations for starting a small wine making business?

I am interested in starting a small wine making business in the mid-west using grapes or must imported from the west coast. Yes, I have made wine before. I am now readly to take this hobby to the next level. I've located the required permits needed to start this business, but I am having difficulty locating the health standards and regulations that will need to be followed. Can anyone help?

You should start with your city or county health department. Health regulations are enforced at the local level.

(FYI, the FDA does not MAKE the law in regards to food safety. They make a recommendation, which is adopted (or not) by each state, and enforced by local health departments, generally at the county or city level.)

In addition to the issue that the post above addresses with the bad FDA advice, the FDA doesn't regulate alcohol. The ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) does. I doubt they have health codes, but it's who you need to turn to for labeling laws and such.
