That's a tough question. when it comes to red wine the flavors of each variety vary quite a bit. Not just flavor but mouth-feel (texture) as well. Some make you salivate, while others strip the moisture out of your mouth. Some have a slight floral scent, others have a hint of chocolate, some smell like a backyard BBQ. Theres soo many to choose. Cant help you. Maybe try a Mondavi cabernet savignon or something like that. Hell 2-buck Chuck is pretty good

Go with a Robert Mondavi Merlot. Its the smoothest and most reliable as far as a consistent taste goes. Plus it will only set you back about 10 to 12 bucks.

I don't drink red wine much. I prefer blushes and white wines but you should look at this website http://www.winereviewonline.com/
or if you have a winery in your area you should go for wine tasting. Its a fun way to figure out what you like.

first of taste of wine varies from person to person, some might dislike it while other adores it.

an master wine taster will tell you that everyone has their own preference. You need to taste one after another to find the one that fits your taste.

as for me, since i'm a college student and on budget, i drink the cheap Yellow tail and some merlot.
