Is it a good thing, and harmless?
Or is it immitating the haraam, and a first step towards alcohol?
I have just discovered non-alcoholic wine (I know I'm a little slow LOL) when asking for subsitutes for wine, when cooking because I wanted to cook some European food that used wine.. but of course don't want to use alcohol
Is it halaal for me to use , or is it like having pork flavoured crisps (which don't contain pork.. pork, well still would be haram.. because who wants the taste of pork.
OK Just to make it CLEAR:
I have NEVER had pork flavoured crisps. NEVER want to. I couldn't imagine a more disgusting thing to eat.
I'm not ocessed with pork. I just gave it as an example. And was interested to know whether you thought non alcoholic wine/beer was a similar concept.
