when thinking of wine what US region comes to mind?

Napa Valley CA.
I was born there and so people call me a "Child of winecountry".

Erie, PA. There are lots of wineries there. I've been in most of them..... of course before I was of legal age.

My dad used to make his own wine, and we'd go to the wineries to get the juice. It was a fun trip every year.

Also, the Amish Country, in Indiana County. There is a very good winery here that sells a lot of wine at the new mall.

I would also say Napa, but my last drive around Michigan was actually surprising. They had some great wineries and almost all of them did tours and tastings. It was actually pretty fun.

Northwest- Oregon,Washington are the best regions due to the climate. perfect for cabernets and strong whites sangriese and vignoles good too. cool moistclimate, long sustained harvest.
