Vintage Red Wine?

I am looking for a good vintage red wine that will last for about 10-20 yrs. preferably french or Itallian. It is for my husband he wants to collect wines and wants to turn our basement in to a wine cellar, I would like to get him something nice to start his collection, also any good books on the topic, thanks all oh also a fair price range not $1000 dollars or anything.

Chateau Margaux is the most fantastic wine on the planet.

For this purpose you can only go with French wine and from the Bordeaux region.

im so sorry this really isnt relavant but you mentioned being an empath i know so few others that this really interests me if theres anything that you could tell me id be really greatfull i spose i could post a question but you seem very lucid about the way you answer that question thank you
