Default What is your favorite red wine, and how would you best characterize it?

flavors, taste, color, bouquet, and, oh yes, finish

Folie a Deux Zinfandel - Smmoth and Mellow Whereas the Cabernet listed above is a party on the town - this Zin is like a good book by the fire Its also Ruby Red (as is everything I drink) If possible get a 2002

My absolute favorite is actually a less expensive wine. It is a Zinfandel (RED) by Barefoot. It is a full bodied red with a bold taste. A very close second is Sangiovese by Bella Sera. It is bold, but slightly fruitier. And of course I like Cabernet Savignon.

Anapamu Pinot Noir. Goes well with anything Italian, Turkish, Greek or American. And it's reasonably priced (<$15).
